Biography: 


Emily received her counseling training at Texas Woman's University. She has experience working with children to seniors.   After working in business for almost 30 years, Emily pursued the education and licensing that would allow her to help others.  She approaches therapy through a solution-focused and existential perspective.  She enjoys guiding her clients to identify meaning and value in their lives and explore how to build lives they are excited to live.   As a cancer survivor, she also hopes to help those diagnosed with cancer and illnesses and their families. 


Emily enjoys spending her free time with her husband, son, daughters, grandchildren, dogs and horses.  She pursues furthering her knowledge of counseling through attendance of conferences, training seminars, and research.


Emily is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern under the direct supervision of Dr. Paul Jurek, PhD, LPC-S (#1121), LMFT-S(#634).
