Accepting New Clients

Most therapy spends its time on the problem: how it started, why it happened, what went wrong. My focus is on the solution: what's already working, what you actually want, and the concrete steps to get you there. A significant part of my work centers on loneliness, a struggle that's become far more common than most people realize and far less talked about, whether it shows up as isolation, disconnection in a relationship, or the sense of being surrounded by people but still feeling unknown. I also work with clients navigating depression, ADHD, and motivation struggles. Many are also carrying shame that keeps replaying in the background, long after the moment that caused it has passed.

Specialties

Loneliness and isolation, depression, ADHD, life transitions, motivation, and shame.

Approach

I use Solution Focused Brief Therapy, a forward looking, practical approach that spends less time dissecting the past and more time identifying what's already working and building toward what you want. You're the expert on your own life; my job is to ask the right questions and help you turn your own answers into real steps forward. I also make space for something I've noticed increasingly in sessions: people quietly working through what a fast changing world, including AI, automation, and shifting norms around work and identity, is doing to their sense of stability, purpose, and connection. That's rarely the whole reason someone comes to therapy, but it's often part of the picture.

Experience

My background includes years of experience working closely with individuals and families in relationship based roles, where I developed strong skills in listening, encouragement, problem solving, and helping people navigate stressful situations. I bring a practical, compassionate, and collaborative style to counseling, with a focus on helping clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward.
